As a therapist who frequently works on the handwriting of letters and words with students, I realized I was missing the opportunity to focus on numbers. LegiLiner math stamps incorporate math practice and writing numbers in a fun way.
There are four math equation stamps with unique numbers to create quick math practice sheets. There are two for addition/subtraction and two for multiplication/division. Each one has unique numbers that no other stamp has. Each stamp has two ends and can roll out 100 different math equation problems.
Take off the lid and pull it down towards you to create a line of equations. Then grab the two end dials. These rotate. Hold one firm and turn to get a new combination of numbers. Print new equations right beside the previous one. The first time it was 10 + 8, then rotating it changed it to 10 + 7. Rotating it a couple more notches gives 10 + 2 and 12 + 3. Each time I rotate one of the sides, I come up with a different problem.
The stamps will repeat every 10 equations, so you can just print out 5 or 6, rotate, and then print out 5 or 6 more to get endless combinations! You can also change the minus into a plus using a pen to get another 100 problems!
The pink stamp is level 1 addition and subtraction up to 20, and the blue stamp is level 2 double-digit addition and subtraction. The yellow stamp is level 1 multiplication and division, focusing on math facts from 3x3 through 12x12 and division by 12. The white stamp is for level 2 multiplication and division, too. You might wonder how the division problems work out evenly; there are many zeros, and everything is divisible by single or double digits. I can solve one of these problems; for example, 300 divided by two is 150. After solving, I'll draw out the LegiLines at the bottom and write 300 / 2 = 150.
With the LegiLiner math stamps, students can practice math facts while also building number formation, spacing, sizing, and overall written output in a way that feels quick, hands-on, and fun.
