When every space is proportional and predictable, students learn better. To do this, students can use finger spacing or special ruled paper that makes the lines clear. This is a practice that gives enough space for linguistic units to be properly separated. The index and middle fingers make up the hand's precision side, while the ring and pinky fingers make up the hand's power side.
